Interior stylist Hilary Robertson's two-story Brooklyn townhouse, filled with vintage furniture and flea market finds. The greys and powdery hues are exactly my cup of tea. The New York Times, found via 79 Ideas
That rosy sofa is a darling. The touch of pink here and there, so feminine. And the oval mirrors atop the fireplace? Priceless. The shelves filled with knickknacks make me feel at peace with mine. Thanks for sharing. Love Doina
Oh wow, this must be one of the best interiors I have ever seen! You're right, the greys and the powdery pink are definitely my cup of tea also! I love this shabby chic feel to it, the mismatched pieces. The whole place feels so comfy and cosy - I want this apartment for myself!
Ps. Thank you so much for stopping by and for your kind words! Glad you enjoyed my little blog a bit :)x
Wouldn't say no to this or any other Brooklyn apartment I have to say :) I really like the personality of this home, the owner is obviously a true collector with a great eye. Yet it all looks so cosy and relaxed, x
Very cool space. There're so many vintage inspired interiors out there but this one has that "Don't care because I like it" attitude which I admire. Know what I mean? Not the trendy "it's an aubusson" way but the much more comfy "no idea...found it in a garage sale" way. Much of my home is decorated with vintage in this way.
I think I know exactly what you mean... This is definitely a refreshing 'vintage-inspired' home that looks and feels genuinely individual and isn't trying to fit into a certain mould. Your home sounds wonderful!
What a beautiful home! I love all the dusty tones and vintage finds. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, beautiful!
such beautiful photos yesterday and today ...
I especially love the checked cushion and pink couch!

I'm so in love with the colours of this home!
Thank you dear Barbara,
yes, the pink sofa is lovely, especially against the backdrop of the grey walls...
Once again, that fireplace gets me :)
And all the interesting finds scattered here and there!
So lovely to hear that Anci, x
