I wish it was my home in the magazine... In fact it's the quaint little Paris home of designer Linda Bergroth from Finnish Divaani magazine - I love it. Happy Easter to you, too!
Kiiiitos, itse vaan tahtoo nähdä kodistaan liikaa niitä murheenkryynikohtia, joita ei kauheasti tule täällä esiteltyä :) Ihana pitkä viikonloppu, nauti!
Rebecca, I just got here now. Happy Easter to you, too! Easter is going all month. "Mine" is coming on Sunday (Orthodox). Still enmeshed in cleaning the apartment. I wish mine is like the one featured here. The first photo stays on my computer screen at work now, and, while doing my job for which I'm being paid, I go inside my mind like this: Less is More, Less is More, strip your rooms, un-clutter-de-clutter your closets, rooms and corners, toss away, toss out, just toss ... OK, you got the drift.
I'm glad to acquaint myself with Finnish designers, and this house in the photos is one of those homes to inspire you for better. One tiny observation: My feet are always cold no matter the thick socks and furry slippers I wear. Rugs are a must. Rugs are cherished. Plus, when you live in an apartment you have neighbors below who can hear your footsteps. That's the beauty of living in a house, versus the inconvenience of living in city apartments.
Happy writing, happy inspiration and a joyful Easter week. Warm hugs from Doina
Thank you Doina, Easter sounds like an extra special and beautiful time for you. 'Less is more' is so true, keeping one's life and place uncluttered, yet with just the right amount of beautiful things that are also practical :) These photos are actually from my home (apart from the one magazine clipping) - we live in an apartment in town and luckily don't have neighbours downstairs, so we can tread the floors in a care-free manner :) I quite love bare floor boards, while the man is eager to get a rug, so when the right one comes along we'll make the investment :) Have a very happy Easter time. x

It's lovely to see your home and I love those candles and the mirror you have
in your living area. Such a stylish birdcage too!
