Like for many of us, the only type of travelling some time ago was the imaginary kind,
so getting to visit Paris after the restrictions lifted felt that bit extra special.
The main intention of the trip was to visit Paris Photo fair,
but also a chance to breathe a little and roam around
with my camera in tow.
One place for a major dose of inspiration was the Vogue Paris 1920-2020 exhibition
at the fairly recently refurbished Palais Galliera –
a mecca for the history of fashion a
nd a stunning Neo-renaissance building to admire in its own right.
I really enjoyed browsing through the collection of Vogue covers,
pages, photography and illustrations throughout the decades.
Palais Galliera is located at:
10 avenue Pierre 1er de Serbie, Paris 16e, 75116 Paris
(P.S. If a trip to Paris isn't happening any time soon,
Palais Galliera has a wonderful online collection to peruse wherever you are!)
