the main festivities are wrapped,
those slow, in-between days arrived.
in-between goes for this post, too
– more moods & music,
less words.
they simmer beneath the surface,
ready to take form
for the new year about to unveil itself.
i want to hear the silence
& take heed.

– stirring, a call to pause,

work pretty much wrapped up.
been taking stock a little
of the year that's about to end.

this year it happened.
found gifts at a leisurely pace
according to what's whispered the recipient's name.
had time to slowly get into the mood.
spent time face to face,
today with a dear friend & my little god daughter
with such a charming home
(glimpses pictured here).
looking forward to unhurried moments,
movies and books
before spending a week
visiting family & friends in England.
tomorrow one final little shoot,
then over & out for the holidays.
