Wishing you a very happy New Year
with images from Le Grand Salon
which I visited with my daughter
earlier in the past year.
It's a wonderful place
to add to your Paris itinerary!
As a sideline, can I just say how good it feels
to be blogging on Sanctuary again!
It's looking a little different here now and
the tweaking will continue.
And I've now linked the blog
to my Poésie Privée shop,
but you can still access it via the original URL.
I'm so looking forward to
diving into blogging again.
It may be a little "old-fashioned",
but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one
who's been yearning for a return
to more slow-paced content,
larger images and freedom from thinking about algorithms...
But for now,
wishing you a beautiful New Year!

Delighted to have discovered your blog. Thank you for taking the time to write it and post such lovely photos of one of my favourite museums in Paris. Looking forward to reading many more pieces in the future.
Thank you dear Caroline for your sweet words
– they made me so happy!
It really is a Paris gem,
one to return to for sure.
Wishing you a beautiful 2023!

Best, Ariane
Dear Ariane,
thank you from the heart,
what a joy to have you popping up here!
The site still needs a bit of finetuning,
but it really is nice to breathe life here again :)
A very happy New Year lovely! x
Long time follower and lovely to see the expansion and your shop. Have the very best 2023 and I look forward to seeing more of your inspiring work
Thank you so much for your lovely words,
so happy to hear you've been tagging along
and still found me :)
A very special 2023 to you <3
Hi Rebecca,
This is the first time ever I've left a comment on a blog (and God do I follow dozens of them for years), but I just wanted to tell you that I am one of your french readers that has been following you since 2013, and that I am very glad you're back to blogging again :) Happy 2023 !
Claire
Dear Claire,
you don't know how happy that makes me to hear <3 An entire decade! As much as I love the thought of new beginnings and starting afresh, I've also come to feel there's value in the past and the journey. It feels "complete" somehow to continue now but with a fresh feeling. Really glad to have you here! x
