Quelques jours à Paris (cinq, last one, Astier de Villatte)

Last but not least,
Astier de Villatte on Rue Saint-Honoré...

with its handmade delicate, chalky ceramics,
shelves stacked high with a mismatch of plates
& bedecked with rows of cups, jugs and votives.
All set against a haven of creaky floorboards,
narrow stairs, tattered wallpaper,
and age-old ambience.

Another good reason to love Paris.

Thank you for sharing these photos with us. A delightful way to see Paris through your magic lens. As always.
Warm hugs from NY (where the weather is chilly and windy)

Astier de Villatte - sigh...
Thank you for this little trip, it really inspires me to just grab my dear husband and flee to Paris for a weekend.
But could you please tell me the name of your hotel? The picture of your room (and the hotel's neighbourhood) looked so very charming :)

Have a lovely monday,

Anne

I hear the weather is going haywire,
freezing in central Europe and boiling hot in Lapland :)
So happy you came along for the ride,
but oh boy would I love a chance to visit your BIG city one day!
Take care, x

Thank you dear Anne,
a little Paris escapade with your husband sounds like the most perfect idea...

I just emailed you with the hotel details.
It was a pretty perfect spot...

Kiitokset :)
Sitä on Pariisi näemmä mullekin,
Pariisi ja Lontoo oikeastaan,
voisin ravata joka vuosi, monta kertaa...

Thanks Jeane :)
That place was an abundance of frail goodies,
from floor to ceiling...
