London VIII, Anthropologie

Of course I had to pay a visit to the Anthropologie stores, which have landed in London's Regent Street and King's Road all the way from America. These pictures were taken in the Regent Street store. I was awe-struck by its magnitude, three floaty floors joined together by an amazing wall of plants, filled with the most enticing objects, romantic clothes, wonderful books. But I think I was mostly mesmerised by all the visual delights and creative thoughts behind the stores' visual layout.

Ameriikan ihmettä Anthropologie'ta piti tietysti käydä hämmästelemässä. Putiikkia on nyt Lontoossa kaksin kappalein, yksi Regent Steetillä ja toinen King's Roadilla. Nämä kuvat on räpsitty Regent Streetin liikkeessä, jossa hämmästelin sen valtaisuutta, kolme väljää kerrosta, joiden välissä alhaalta ylös ulottuva huikea kasviseinä. Tuolla iski suorastaan runsauden pula, houkuttelevia kotijuttuja, romanttishenkisiä vaatteita, kerrassaan ihania kirjoja. Silmät kiiluivat kaikkein eniten kuitenkin visuaalisten kikkojen ja luovien idisten perään, joilla nuo tilat oli loihdittu.

Haluaisin NIIN kovasti päästä näkemään tuon liikkeen! Siis ihan näkemään ja ihastelemaan. Kiitos näistä Lontoon postauksista. Lontoo on ihan lempikaupunkini, olen käynyt jo monta kertaa tutkailemassa näitä postauksiasi! :)

Anthropologie oli mun vakiopaikka San Diegossa. Siis piti käydä aina vaan ihailemassa nimenomaan sitä visuaalista ilotulitusta, ja miten kekseliäästi kaikki oli esillä. No, joskus ostinkin jotain pientä ;-)

Nimenomaan ilotulitusta, jotain ihan muuta. Putiikilla on varmaan ihan mieletön luova tiimi, jäin miettimään, että mitenköhän usein siellä ylipäänsä lookki vaihtuu, kun on nähty niin mieletön vaiva. Varmaan aika säännöllseen kuitenkin. Näkisipä ne joulukoristelutkin!

Tasiaa, Anthropologie is something else, hope you get to visit one day!

size too small, I didn't even come out with anything, although I would have been happy probably with all that they carry. I must say my attention got so side-tracked onto great ideas and details.

barbara, Oh, I'm so happy you said that! I ended up taking so many photos that got a little carried away here :) I have a little more London to come and then onto other topics again next week.

timelesshome annika, Thank you so much! Hope you get to visit soon, too. I walked past the Hummingbird Café and it looked as lovely as always, I visited on my last London visit, so thought I should try new places this time :) It would be absolutely fine for you to use as many photos as you like. x s

Rebecca, arvelisin että San Diegossa liikkeiden (niitä oli kolme seudulla) lookki vaihdettiin vähintään kerran kuukaudessa. Aika usein. Upeinta oli yleensä näyteikkunat, koska niihin he suunnittelivat tosi näyttäviä juttuja. Kerran oli vanhoista kellastuneista kirjoista tehty aivan mielettömän hienoja koristeita.

Julie Holloway, Lucky you x

Heidi, I was so impressed by the displays, and that they'd created a similar atmosphere in both shops, but both had separate creative touches going on. Such creativity and dedication!

Vintage Noli, Thank you so so much, lovely you. x
